The '''Celesital General''' (when not used in reference to [[San Lukas]]) is the title of the head of the church of [[Xia Leng]] and the chief officer of the temple at [[Xia Leng Ji]] in the southern [[Atlas Mountains]]. During the time of the Petrenean Republic the position was both religious and martial, with the Celestial General being nominally the commanding officer of any combined army the republic as a whole levied. Since the [[Great Collapse]] and the loss of the cities of [[Fus]] and [[Kei]], the position has become purely religious, and increasingly focused on the health and well being of the church's most important temple.
