The '''Fawns''' or '''Fauns''' are a minor nation within the [[Confederacy of Sages]]. Such half-fay Fauns as exist have always been a minority among the tribes of the Confederacy, confining themselves to a few wooded areas near the [[Bastion Line]]. Since the expansion of the humans into the [[Frontier Counties]], however, they have begun to experience a population boom. While technically descendants of the [[Satyr]], Fauns have a unique culture all their own as a result of their changeling nature.

Fauns are known for occasionally defending non-Faun settlements such as those of the humans in secrets, or joining the [[Cervitaur]] in presenting themselves in times of crisis.
