The '''Knights of the Orb''' were a trio of [[Ironwall Goblins|Ironwall]] [[Goblins]] operating in [[Unradiance Hall]] in [[the Deeping]]. Lead by [[Zarfu Cleverest]], the Knights was a small order of perhaps a dozen goblins who had taken the hall from a group of [[Clan Torserdsson]] prospectors in the days before the Entangled moved through the Hall. Since organizing the knighthood in so many words was largely Zarfu's idea, the majority of the goblins fled the area and quit the order when the Entangled defeated Zarfu and his lieutenants [[Zorn the Unbreakable]] and [[Mirthilda Farsight]] and stole the [[Orb of Unradiance]].

However, Zarfu did not consider this defeat final and, having survived the ordeal and still of the faith that the site and especially the [[Orb of Unradiance]] are artifacts of the direct divine intervention of [[Gob]], he kept the order alive and made himself and any who would follow him sworn enemies of the Entangled until the Orb was back in his hands.
