The dwarves term the northern portion of the [[Atlas Mountains]] as [[Northreach]], and the region is home to the clanholds of [[Clan Bofgansson]] and [[Clan Marrensson]]. The region is comprised of the entire range of the Atlas Mountains north of the [[Pass of the Tall Folk]], which joins [[Estmarch]] and the [[Atlassian Foothills]] through a narrow and betimes-treacherous pass.

This region is also home to the [[Carcolie]], who are as likely to raid dwarves as the neighbouring humans of [[Bastonia]]. The dwarves in this region therefore largely prefer the underground portions of their domain, and the surface portions of Northreach are seen as a wild frontier in spite of the ancientness of dwarven settlement in the area.
