The '''Southern Province''' is an extensive rural province in the south-central [[Atarlie Empire]], which extends from the southern bounds of the [[Province of the Lowland Meadows]] and the [[Atlassian Foothills]], all the way to a garissoned border roughly around the lateral maridian of the [[Hearthlands]]. This is a remote, rolling territory, full of planes punctuated by ancient forests, and ruins, warrens, and barrows that predate the foundation of the empire. It is known by some as the ''Breadbasket of the Empire'' as the region is largely responsible for agricultural surplus throughout the empire.
