''The Peashkharid''' is a region of the former Petrenean Republic in what is now the south-central [[Shimmering Shore]]. Focused around the city of [[Pashkhara]], the city-state have thrown overboard the ideals and traditions of the old republic, instead serving the somewhat corruptable [[Trade Princes of Pashkhara]], a syndicate of wealthy merchants who have translated their wealth into military (and therefore political) power.

The city is a fertile spice-producing region which trades heavily with both [[Bastonia]] and the [[Atarlie Empire]], bringing in enormous sums of wealth as a result. That wealth rarely trickles out of the city, or indeed the coffers of the trade princes, making the Pashkarid at once the most wealthy part of all of [[Wisteria]] and simultaneously a place of great poverty, especially as you travel further inland.
