Brahm of Sterromere was a metallurgist and blacksmith from Bastonia, circa the first century after the Battle of the First Wall. He was a native of what was, in his time, the small thorpe of Sterromere, in northern Estmarch. His principal achievement was the discovery of the techniques of working Himmelmetall. He was known to have been a holy man, and lay devotee of San Heather and is credited with being the craftsman who made the Stellar Bulwark, a legendary shield long-lost but briefly attributed as a crown treasure.
