Atlas Mountains

The Atlas Mountains are a range of jagged, alpine mountains that stretch along the northern axis of Wisteria, from its northernmost shores into the highlands of the southern Shimmering Shores. They divide the continent more or less in half, separating Bastonia and the Lordless Lands from the Atarlie Empire, and occident from orient.

The northern reaches of the Atlas Mountains and their foothills constitute a Boreal Rainforest, and range from temperate to cold. Toward the south, especially on their western side (which are a rain shadow), they are more arid and rocky.

Both the Carcolie and the Clans of Magnus have their territory entirely within the Atlas Mountains and overlapping with one another.
