Red Masters

Red Master is a title in the hierarchy of the great church of the goblins, a rank above bishop but below Great Goblin in precedence. As a goblin title it is best understood by its capacity to ben exploited and abused, and so is perhaps best defined by its most powerful conferred privilege. The Red Masters, collectively, meet regularly in Siem in order to legislate on church matters and lobby the Great Goblin to make his fiat in their favour. Importantly, at the proper time, the Red Masters convene in order to elect a new Great Goblin, almost always from among their own number.
