This article is a stub, traveller. You can help us complete the Archivum Wisteria by expanding upon it. Antistasis is one of the Eight Essential Planes of Wisterian Cosmology, tied to the essence and element of Wind. Like many Essential Planes it is hazardous to outright-uninhabitable by mortal species from Ahren.
Antistasis is effectively a vast and nigh-infinite open sky, grey in colour, with neither bottom nor top, through which a creature without the power of flight would fall potentially endlessly. The plane is home to various classes of wind spirits, and particularly known for playing host to the Djinn and their half-folk, the Slyphs.
The Djinn, through their magics, have been known to pull solid material like ice or rock into Antistasis, constructing islands and settlements which are safe enough within their confines for most mortals to inhabit.
