Stasis is one of the Four Cardinal Abstractive Planes of Wisterian Cosmology, a distinction shared with Axioma, Vita, and Pandemonium. As a cardinal plane, it is strongly linked to the concept of Evil, especially its destructive aspect, Negative Energy. As is the case with Ahren and virtually every other plane, the true origins of Stasis are lost to time. Even moreso than the dogmatic planes, no god claims absolutely dominion over or creation of the Pit of the Multiverse
Stasis is the great void at the end of time and space where even the light of The Fire of Creation is swallowed up and comes to nothing. Some scholars argue this represents the ultimate fate of the multiverse; a cold and empty void in which nothing can exist, much less move or live.
It is possible through extraordinary magical effort to survive in Stasis. Some shallower portions of the plane are traversable. Some of its intermediate realms are dangerous even to gods. At its core is a great expanse feared even by the Gods, and from which nothing can return.
