Balgharond was a Pit Lord in the service of the Enemy during the Age of Rebellion, and likely quite some time before. He was the overseer of one of many slave-operated mines in the Bleak. The Pit Lord's slaying by the then-mortal San Lukas is a key part of the legendarium of the Church of Bastonia and marked the formal beginning of the human rebellion against the enemy which would ultimately culminate in the Battle of the First Wall.
