The drug Xytol is a concoction endemic to the Lordless Lands, taught to the Orcish Nation by Cervitaur shaman. The drink comprises extracts of several herbs and the fermented juices of the fruit from which it derives its name, and in addition to being strongly alcoholic, the drink has psychadelic properties. Used correctly in the rituals of the shaman of the region, it is capable of enabling divine visions and important revelations. Borba Wise-Eyes, an ascended deity in the Orcish Pantheon, was an adherent to this practice and is said to frequently visit her followers who maintain it with visions, prophecy, and the gift of divine magic.

The Orcs in particular consider the recreational use of Xytol sacrilegious. Naturally, this brings them into conflict yet again with others in the Lordless Lands or Frontier Counties who have discovered the drink to be pleasurable enough to offset its downsides.
