Purge of High Toor

Centuries before the Great Collapse, the city of High Toor was the site of a pitched battle between the local populace and a Horde in the service of Buggug Angel-Slayer, during which the city was destroyed. The battle is said to have partially been waged between the forces of Heaven and Hell, with the local Petreneans calling upon Angels for help, and the orcs receiving infernal support through deals made by their leaders.

After the destruction of the city, it was never fully rebuilt, and ultimately abandoned completely when the Great Collapse began.
