This article is a stub, traveller. You can help us complete the Archivum Wisteria by expanding upon it.

Aicasse Galenas is the elven name for a species of Nicotinia nightshades which grow in the northern Atlas Mountains, chiefly in Carcolie Territory. As a pipe-weed the plant is particularly prized and relatively well-known throughout Wisteria. While the plant grows readily from seeds and cuttings, its curious property of setting adrift in the night has made it resistant to cultivation - the gas bladders responsible for this are extremely delicate, and if damaged at all (even by the pressure of rising into nets), tend to cause the plant to become blighted and die.

For this reason, the cultivated varieties that do exist are rare, and lack the magical properties of the herb. Specifically, druids of the Cult of the Stormseers as well as the Star-Counters used this plant in their rites. The Star-Counters in particularly use it as a component in an incense used in the rite known as Imbibing the Stars, which marked the initiation of promising druids down a path that would culminate in them being recognized as a Star-Counter.
