The Star-Counters are the eldest experienced masters of the Secrets of Nature, heads of the druidic circles of the Confederacy of Sages. They are so-called because of their association with the magical school's deep understanding of astronomy and astrology. To be named among the Star Counters is a mark of respect for both your age and mastery of druidic magic. The Star Counters occupy a central role in the Confederacy, as permanent keepers of Star Rock and an independent body at the Convocation of the Sages.
