This article is a stub, traveller. You can help us complete the Archivum Wisteria by expanding upon it. Akara is one of the Eight Essential Planes of Wisterian Cosmology, tied to the essence and element of Water. Like many Essential Planes it is hazardous to outright-uninhabitable by mortal species from Ahren.

Akara is effectively a vast and nigh-infinite ocean, with neither bottom nor top, and a lack of objective gravity - there is no down or up, top or bottom in Akara. The plane is home to various classes of water spirits, and frequented by other species like Marids, Undine, or Arcwales.

Powerful currents course through Akara, occasionally bringing admixtures such as sleet when in close proximity to Antistasis or rocky reefs if conjoined near Petrii. Much of sentient life in Akara circles around such unusual changes in weather - the Undine and other Ahren life who establish a presence in Akara often do so on the more solid reefs so produced.

As Akara is not currently inhabited by any known gods, there are no strict realms to be discussed.
