The Duke of Zeemarch is a title within the Bastonian nobility, third in order of precedence among the Bastonian Dukes and therefore third in line to the throne, after the Duke of Bastonia and the Duke of Estmarch. While all dukedoms are inherently in the gift of the Bastonian Monarch, the wealthiness of Zeemarch and the large numbers of militia and chivalric orders that owe fealty to the Duke of Zeemarch directly means that it has been several generations since a Duke of Zeemarch was replaced, and the branch of the Royal Family that holds the title currently is known as the House of Marino as a result. The Ducal Seat is Oversea.
