The Speaker of the Eye is a figurehead position in the Cult of the Stormseers. While the cult is headed by an informal council of the wise, that council represents their interests outside of the cult's secret circles through the Speaker of the Eye, who is usually in the position for life once appointed. The Speaker of the Eye has important public responsibilities, such as annointing a Great-Grandchieftain.
