Kingdom of Alteria

The Kingdom of Alteria is a minor state in what is now the northwest of the Shimmering Shore. A new government formed after an internal conflict between the various nobility of the city when the former Petrenean Republic collapsed, the kings of Alteria owe their loyalty to Xia Leng first and to the rest of the former republic second, if at all. The country is seperated from the Lordless Lands by the Transoccidental Mountains, but never the less they occasionally cross these mountains to skirmish with the Orcs.

The city of Alteria, its capital, would be doomed were it not for its holding downriver at Port Arbita which allows for trade with Bastonia and the Petrenean City-State.
