Xarthekei Frontier

The Xarthekei Frontier is a region of the former Petrenean Republic in what is now the northeast Shimmering Shore. Cut off from the rest of the region by the relative perils of the Great Collapse, the city fathers of Xarthekei reinstituted the position of Master of Xarthekei and took over direct administration of the city's immediate surroundings, as was their pre-republican province.

The region faces twin perils in the form of a second Southern Campaign, war with either the Atarlie Empire or the dwarves of Southreach, and the threat posed by the Great Collapse itself. A once placid and harmoneous area, the region is now consumed with the preparations for war.
