The Holy Dwarven Grudge is a storied tradition of the Clans of Magnus, said to originate with Belippa Magnusson herself. The tradition holds that it is good and proper for any dwarf slighted for any reason to maintain a record of that slight until it is satisfied. Maintaining these Books of Grudges has risen to an art form similar to that of accountancy. While the satisfaction varies according to the slight, the practice is best known outside the Atlas Mountains for being cited in dwarven declarations of war.
