The Keeper of the Labyrinth is a key political and religious office in the culture of the Minotaur tribes within the Confederacy of Sages. The position is a one of deep druidic mastery, responsible for the education and leadership of the druidic cult of the Minotaur and the security and sanctity of The Labyrinth in the Unspoiled Wood as well as performing the ceremony that marks the official beginning of a tribal chief's rule. Keepers (or their second) are entitled to attend the Convocation of Sages alongside such chiefs.
