This article is incomplete and will require additional work.

The Way of the Longriders is one of the Orcish Nation's Ways of Blood, and the one most closely resembling what other nations might recognize as a Chivalric Order. The Longriders are a mixture of ranging service and cavalry brigade, closely associated with the city of Kalkin Gol, which houses an official academy for their organization known as the Saddlehouse.

Orcish Longriders are extremely capable riders, in particularly of horses, dire wolves, and many other magical beasts of appropriate size from throughout the Lordless Lands. In addition to cavalry combat training, Longrider specialists also train in the care, training, and husbandry of beasts of all kinds. Longrider Beastmasters in particular are known to deploy beasts on the battlefield in the way that captains deploy infantry.

The association of the longriders with the Kalkin Gol Horde is strong, but by no means is the discipline limited only to members of that Horde. Tribes come and go from the hordes as a natural part of the ebb and flow of orcish history, and unofficial offshoots of the longriders can be found in every corner of the Orcish Nation.
